The Cleft Chin

The cleft chin
Dips perfectly into flesh
and so it exists
for pleasure
With its drip drop
of blood platelets
Recruiting the heart

It's springboard
Of tomorrows
The admiral
Of silent entrapment
cradles me close;

militarization
passing between
various parts
Of my ship wrecked body

during the most
Ominous or foreboding
Times of year
We set sail endlessly
crescent for moon
Guiding in and out
of piers and docks

Unanchored children
free floating
against the fight for time;
found in places
where we once got our digs

On board after hours
enjoying the memories
meeting at the bay
of pressed uniforms

Partial wave itself
Bobbing and weaving
Among stowaways and
mariners a like
who fight against
The current
of irresistability
With a rising tide in tow

Oh how it makes me feel so chic below the boardwalk
Of hollow cravings
Reaching a crescedo
during the festival of desire where we both become.
