Free verse
tick tock tock tick tock tick tick
needle point into blazing thread
watch the clock and hear it click
a gown fit for a bride to be wed

whos it for is the question
perhaps some fine lady with fair complexion

no of course thats not the case
you know who its for
not some woman with a pretty face
you treat this as if it were some chore

you have seen this gown in your dreams
its not hard to figure out what that means

this gown was made for you

About this poem

my first submission! this one has been sitting in my notebook for a while and i thought i might as well put it somewhere its a bit freeform and messy... i wrote it after finishing a challenging project i was doing as a vent
