Soneto do Adeus

Renato Sakate 1978 (Botucatu)

Vejo-te, meu passado, tão cinzento
encoberto da poeira dos meus anos,
reduzido em arroubos desumanos.
Prejuízo de um projeto fraudulento!

Vejo-te, meu futuro, tão mundano
destituído de garra e sentimento.
Castrado de linhagem, testamento...
Reconduzido ao pó de meus enganos.

Pesadelo que vivo em cada dia
me acorda envelhecido, ultrapassado!
Tanto mais solitário e sem poesia...

Hoje de meu quinhão sou resultado:
Perdido estou aqui, sem companhia
Achado serei ali, sereno e alado.
