February Dreams

I dreamt of you once; dancing with me on a marbled floor,
I knew your face so well like I had seen it somewhere before,
When I awoke my heart was filled with a new type of joy,
Places inside of me rushing love to employ,
Years would go by,
Every night I closed my eyes,
Wishing to see you, to hear you,
Wishes come true they say and life anew,
It was a February night and without hesitation,
You entered this world with no reservation,
I held you in my arms your biggest fan,
It was the moment where I truly became a man,
Wanting to protect you from any harm,
Wanting to calm you from any alarm,
When I saw your eyes open, I knew I saw them before,
There were the same ones who once danced with me on that marbled floor.
