To Heaven Above

If someone knew how i was feelin,
Would they sit down and listen?
If you knew how i am feelin,
Would you shut-up for a minute?

Or would you just keep talkin,
Bout the things that are botherin you,
Would you compare our lives
Is there something that you could do?

I know , its rough, to hear, that someone you know
Is sad, and lost, and doesnt want to go
Go on, living, in this lonely empty world
Its not your life, you wont ever understand

Its true every day its always the same
The empty gaze the worthless daze
All i think about is swinging,
the warm sun on my face

Above me is blue sky
where heavens angels fligh so high
Feel the breeze floating through the air
On my way to a perfect life

I know, its rough, to hear  that someone that you know
Is sad, and lost, and doesnt want to go
Go on, living, in this lonely empty world
But its not your life, how could you understand?

Ive gone around and around
Trying to find a better way
But when i know when lifes done
I will gently float away

There will be no more hurt
No more sicknesses or pain
I cant numb this feeling
Cant make depression just go away.

Its rough, to hear, that someone that you know
Is sad, and lost, and doesnt want to go
Go on, living, in this lonely empty world
I just hope you understand

This isnt goodbye now
Ill see you again my friend
But this weight that i carry
Is just too damn heavy

Why wouldnt i want to go
Where the streets are paved in gold
My God I have begged you
But my prayers are fading.

When you hear, that someone that you know
Is sad, and lost, and doesnt want to go
Go on, living, in this lonely empty world
Do anything to show them they dont have to go

This pain will be long gone
For me but not for you
Forgive me Father
All i want is to be with you

When my body is whole again
No more sickness no more pain
I will kneel at the altar
That is when the best life begins
