"The white horse"

Wendy Mitchell 1981 (West Liberty)

I was thinking of God today what would she do She would fight the world of hate fight until the night drops until I put out the fire that burns at night before sleep
I was thinking of God
I was thinking of God
Why do we cry oh how I wish we not cry for ourselves stop using me start loving me for me
Why do I feel poor in my heart I need a place to live oh how I want a family of my own with kids running in the house every night and day I think of family having my own I get sad every time I wake up I can't take no more pain sadness it hurts it kills me seeing everyone happy but me I'm not happy like I used to be when my baby was taken for no reason things don't feel the same people only want me for money or bills to pay off what bought wanting me for me oh how it hurts my heart is in pain can't bare it no more
I was thinking of God
I was thinking of God
Please love me stop using me for money love me as I am God I'm alive and well people think I'm a Man no I'm a women please don't forget bought my hard life as God
