How rude of you to assume that when you were choosing my dreams for me, I wouldn't make me question my whole existence.
How rude of you to assume that I wouldn't shatter into a million formless pieces under the pressure of your expectations.
How rude of you to assume that when you parade me around like a trophy, I wouldn't delude myself into thinking that I am worthless without those awards against my name.
How rude of you to assume that making me renounce my desires wouldn't strip away anything and everything which makes up the essence of me, leaving behind a shell shrouding a gaping hollow.
