I want to hurt
Because I’m hurting inside,
But I want to feel physical pain,
So my body can understand
How my heart feels.
I want to hurt.
Physical hurt
Will be my companion,
Physical hurt
Will be the only way
For me to distract myself
From this agonizing pain inside.
I want to hurt.
It’s the only way
To stop myself from dying.
Even if you don’t
Understand my reasons it’s okay,
But I still want to hurt.
I still want to bleed physical pain
So I can just focus on my physical hurt,
And not this agony of a broken girl inside.
