Wishing for you

As I sit here and watch every early morning sunrise
Or sit on the beach and watch another sunset
My thoughts think of your smile and those beautiful eyes
And the heart I would love to get
The first time I saw you
I knew there would be no one else
The way you look at me makes me weak
I know I want you all to myself
To have you as mine would by my dream
No one else will ever do
Because every time I close my eyes all I see is you.
When you pulled into the lot that first day it was like destiny
I just didn't know it yet
Now it's like you've reawakened the real me
And when you're near I'm the happiest I can ever get
The second you're gone my day is not the same
And I count the minutes until you return
To others it may sound kind of lame
But it's only for your touch that I yearn
Your strong arms, your kind smile seem to be like a gift from above
My second chance
I never thought that I would feel anything like this again: never knowing another ounce of love
But now I fully intend to make sure with everything I have that you know how thankful I would be if you were my man
I have never wanted a second chance at love as much I do right now
To have this dream come true
Until then I be taking it slow
But know that every second of every day, I am always wishing for you.
