You can’t have one without the other

Boys play in dirt, and make messes
Girls play with dolls, and wear dresses.

Boys play sports, while girls cheer.
Girls drink wine, while boys drink beer.

Boys shoot guns, girls shoot bows.
Who kills the deer, only the deer knows.

Girls love pink, boys love camo.
Girls watch romance, boys watch Rambo.

Girls bathe, boys shower.
It takes girls more than an hour.

If either one didn’t exist there’d be no population,
no city, no town, nor even a nation.

Although they are different, they need one another;
you simply can’t have one without the other.

About this poem

To some this maybe considered a stereotype, but the last two stanzas are 100 precent truth. Only a man and woman can produce a baby.
