The lies we wear as masks.

Slim-thick 2022 (Elsewhere)

I just love her. Her real self.... Not whatever this funhouse distortion that's bending time and space... Or just basic computer code...either way alot of effort to disguise to camouflage....the real her...the one I feel and really see..through all this garbage and deciet ...to subvert me or to try to break me....ugly are the masks we present to the world ..when under those masks there is pure beauty that would make time stand still if the world was truly offered a glimpse...and twisted are the lies we tell ourselves to hide the fact that we can't see past the masks we choose to hide behind .....more twisted are the lies we tell one another while we are on stage trying to play a part someone else wrote for us...or a part written for someone else that we feel obligated to play.... Well I didn't read your script and I never learned the lines that I wrote for myself... Shower me with forget me nots and handgranades....im add Libbing this mother fucker.... And .......ACTION...EXIT STAGE RIGHT

About this poem

To truly see what resides inside others. But they either deny out of fear of being hurt or just blaintently lie to themselves who they really are or what they really do. It's funny how those masks we hide behind eventually become convenient truths. -SADFACE-EMOTICON-
