See Me

Will I ever be truly seen? Not just a glare. Or your tired stare. See me. My guilt. My shame. My pain and all of my imperfections. Let me be ugly dirty and still see my beauty. Because until I get your acknowledgement I'm nothing.Just like I thought. Just like they said. Just like she said. So long ago. In a time that's too recent to forget  But too long ago to recall correctly. Sadness loneliness and nothingness just dark and cold. Home sweet home. No welcome Matt when you enter. No pictures on the wall. A house full of flaws. My gap tooth. My big lips. My beady eyes. My speech lacks the correct announceation but I try. So please try to See Me....
