Disturbing Redundancy

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Disturbing is a noticeable redundancy.
As if common is the repetition of it.
With more seeming to welcome,
A dumbing to numb further down...
Minds unconscious and made unaware,
Or care to take interest...
Of how effective they have been affected,
By their own approval and acceptance.
To be selected and picked,
As clowns to portray.
At their own expense.
And don't mind paying the price.
To play fools ridiculed used and abused.
Still doing,
Anything possible.
And by all means necessary,
To be accepted as equals.
In a society based upon,
Greed, deception.
And a selfishness to feed.

Afterall...
It is for the attention to get.
To complain and whine.
Until the host,
Of such an extravagant event.
Promises to toss them,
Nickels and dimes.
If they entertain by showing everyone,
How well they can twerk.
Tweet and download.
The latest sold to sell decadence.

'I love this.
Watch what comes next.'

With their muscle loosened behinds!
And smothered thongs,
Leaving nothing left to imagine.

'Not only are they,
Appreciative and grateful.
But also abundantly talented as well.
Would you all like more wine?
Drink up.
God knows there is enough of it.
And after dinner...
I had my chef create this fantastic dessert.
You all are going to be so surprised,
By just how delicious it is.

Oh...
My goodness.
Look at those two over there.
Attempting to tease us,
With full exposure...
Of their skills and talents.

Excuse me, my angels. Excuse me.
DON'T YOU TWO BE SO NAUGHTY.
OVER THERE!
Doing the dip-dip,
Grab it while it's hot stuff!
NO...
NOT YOU TWO.
UNDER THE LIMBO STICK.
DOING WHATEVER THAT IS.
GRINDING INTO EACH OTHER'S HIPS.
THE OTHER TWO.
REHEARSING TO PRODUCED,
WHAT APPEARS MORE KIDS.
DOING SOMETHING UNSPEAKABLE.
LEWD AND DISPICABLE.
AND EMBARASSINGLY TASTELESS.
If I must say so myself.
AS IF NOT TO BE SEEN AND IGNORED.
NEAR MY WAXED,
MAHOGANY FRENCH DOORS.
I AM CLISED TO BEING APPALLED.
DADDY IS WATCHING!
VERY VERY CLOSELY!
PLEASE TRY NOT TO BE,
SO BLATANTLY DISGUSTING.
REMEMBER,
WE DO HAVE GUESTS.
MAKE A GOOD IMPRESSION.
DONT FORGET WHAT DADDY ALWAYS
SAYS...
SASSY IS GOOD WHEN ACCEPTABLE.
AND...
BOOTY DELICIOUS.
BUT NOT ON DADDY'S...
RECENTLY BUFFED FLOORS.
DONT FORGET...
THE BEST BEHAVIOR TO PROJECT?
GETS TO RETURN.
TO DO YOUR THING.
ON THE VERANDA'S,
BRAND NEW INSTALLED...
SILK CLOTHED SWING.
OKAY?

I just love them.
Their spontaneity!
I almost treat them as if they were,
My own personal servants.
I wished my parents were still alive.
They would be thrilled,
To witness this...frenzied energy!'
