Victim’s perspective

~A 2000 (faisalabad)

They kept my spirit hostage
It's difficult to pardon
Destroying me
They left me of no place
This isn't, even a little, reasonable

Yet, all the world needed to say was
"For what reason did you leave alone around evening time?"
"You ought to have been home when
'twas still sunlight."
"It's all your issue"
"It's simply a little attack."
They were more regrettable than dogs
Frightened to death,
I was tossed to the ground
"If it's not too much trouble, STOP it!!"
I shouted for help and glanced around
Nobody came for me
The following day those attackers were liberated
Arguing for equity
I understood,
This world feeds off Injustice
