FROM OUT OF THE DARK

From out of the dark
Horrid visages loom,
Strange man-like beings
That hunt beneath the moon.

Abominations are crawling
Around this sordid town,
Leaving an acidic slime trail
As they slither 'cross the ground.

Unnameable horrors lurching
Through the streets toward you,
Foul carnivores of the night
With lethal spines to run you through.

Shadowy figures following you
From sundown until sunrise,
Winged Verdillacs fly overhead
Haunting the midnight skies.

Prehistoric winged reptiles
Compete with the hungry Verdillacs,
Hoping to catch a sight of you
So they can swoop down and attack.

From out of the dark
Malignant beings follow,
Resounding like the voice of death
They give out a monstrous bellow.

Through the malevolent night
Baneful creatures are hunting,
Pig-like atrocities that are following
Giving out obnoxious grunting.

Terror fills the sordid night
Within this loathsome village,
Sea-, land-, and airborne fiends
All plunder, rape, and pillage.
