Drowning in my thoughts about how to apologize
Because it seems you love it when I do
I am tired of being afraid of offending you
And now I'm getting tired of loving you too

You make it seem I am the only one Loving
You smile only when you are in a good mood
When I get angry, You get rude
You make it seem I can walk out if I want
Is our love that gaunt?

"I'm sorry" is when you didn't reply or call back
Or when you came online and ignored my messages
Ignoring me only discourages
I don't miss you when you ignore my chat
ignoring me only makes us grow apart

Before loving you, I knew I would always do
Now I am just praying I don't fall out
Now I know why People Fall in and out
When the efforts only comes from one end
the heart behind the effort grows tired even when it Pretends

I pray I don't fall out of love
Because when I do, you will also hurt
Am trying to keep us so I will not flirt

Do you really want us to end?
Because I have started considering it
I don't like to loving you like this

About this poem

This poem simplifies how most relationship break up mostly because only one person is trying hard enough to make the relationship work, and reveals that no matter how careless, patience or loving a person is with time they will fall out of love just as the persona in this poem is gradually falling out.
