Earth Cry

The light of my life the sun shines so brightly close
The rain, my tears fall heavily at times
My veins, my lungs, the branches of my trees are
weakening
My breath is shortening
My blood is overflowing in parts of me
My core is weak and hurt
The ground, my skin is roughly dry, the nourishment provided wastes away
I cry out loudly with my sickness of thunder, lightning, tornadoes and earthquakes
I am tired and fragile
Changes must be made
