A Breath

And all at once, with an intake of breath, he felt himself burst through the surface of the water.
Away from its deceptive warmth, which had together, both embraced and suffocated.

And In that moment, a heaviness had been removed.
Falling apart in perfect pieces and drifting away untouched.

A feeling that tomorrow will come again, and in its wake, the anticipation that another will follow.
