Black and White
Ten years worth of memories
All down the drain
My feelings are something
You can't really explain
I didn't know
We'd go our separate ways
I was wandering
In an enormous maze
It’s over and
I can’t accept it
My life is just
My tears collected
The ‘us’ has now gone
And I’m really lost
What went wrong?
How much does this cost?
You made my life
Go from colourful to plain
Drowned in the depths
Of sorrow and pain
About this poem
This poem is about losing your best friend, someone you trusted or relied on. Though this has never happened to us before, we thought it'd be fun to explore with a different theme for our poetry, instead of the happy poetry we usually write.
