Good God, Finish

Already I am bored
Save me please oh lord
I just wanted to be happy
Not mean or gross or snippy
Relentless to be perfect
Driving myself to be a wreck
Frustrations go unchecked
Anger surfacing above my neck
Looking forward to the day
When good luck looks my way
I wish I still had a dream
Only now I want to scream
With nothing else to pursue
Hating whatever I do
Guess I am lucky to be alive
After all I have survived
I am striving to be better
Doing everything to the letter
Homesick, lonely and depressed
All I want to do is rest
Put my body to the ground
Where dirt and history abound
I want to see a glimmer of hope
The rest of my life I have to cope
I want to set myself on fire
Perhaps then I can retire
