When I am not here

Daniel Brown 1989 (fowler)

Let my arduous hands touch your skin,
let me feel your moisture,
collapse on me while the world sleeps.
let me pray for, me a fortunate,
to find you,
we revel in love,
while the night swells.
Let our body transcend ,
let the soul lust on the course,
allow me to lie on your lap,
caress me, soothe me, make me drown in your endless love.
And when I am not here,
assure me, you go on,
we might hug sometime,
and repeat all these lines. Again.
