Changes

The most beautiful thing I have ever seen,
is when my wife is looking back at me.
I also look into her eyes,
and seem to ask myself why.
Why does she love me,
is there something she can see.
A man inside that she knows I can be.
I have loved her from the moment we met,
and at times I seem to forget.
That you only get one true love,
that God sends you from up above.
Is she here to teach me how to love,
and will I learn and it be enough.
To help me understand why she cares,
even when my feelings I may not share.
Because I have hurt her I need to know,
how to love her and allow myself to grow.
Into the man she knows I can be,
and release the anger deep inside of me.
From my past that haunts me everyday,
and find my future with her in every way.
For I know she loves me in my heart,
and I will do everything so we don't grow apart.
You have to hit bottom to find your top,
and that is why my drinking had to stop.
Because I love her in every way,
and plan to show her everyday.
How much she means to me in my life,
and that is why she became my wife.
I still have her to love and hold,
till we both grow and become old.
For me to change is all she ask,
and that is and will be my task.
Because I love her the choice is easy for me,
because without her I can never be free.
So I live each day to find a new,
man inside me that she loves to.
