cowabunga pizza party

when you hear the buzzer
appreciate the art; like war;
the end was at the start
but we was somewhere
in the middle;
an answer
to an unsaid riddle;
little by little
we learned
the human experience
is a cord so brittle
that
whatever gets tied with it
is bound to break away; to be lost;
see - there's a difference
between the price
and the cost-

the relationship sank
so I'm walking the plank;
my ex marks a spot
where the daydreams of
Peg leg hops
Into the drop are buried;
they keep rolling
they won't stop;
as my brain
parrots my worst thoughts--
I guess every treasure needs a box.

every treasure needs a box?
broken window theory;
then every window needs a rock
put thirty seconds on the clock

never had a chance
in a three point stance
get your money
ok designer fancy pants
cops treat us like ants

black fist up
middle finger extended
noose around my neck
like a pendant
still on paper
like an indent
creative expression
no criminal intent
they hate
to see a brother content-- resplendent

in the lab:
I'm a homer
like Iliad,
treat reality
like a silly fad,
skating on em
like I'm really rad,
like a Billy bad-- ass
at a cowabunga pizza party
thinking like I'm Donatello;
can't even trust my mans
word to Othello--

my first words to god
will be hello
nice to meet you
I won't keep you
then I'm walking away
wondering why the f*ck
does heaven needs gates--

6'6
never left no vegetables on the plate
always getting higher--
I need a cape.
I need some Bapes.
I need to escape;
mixtapes on replay
every day.
every day
is the day
I strive to be great.
