"Time, A Child of the Mind"

Thomas M. Scott 1948 (United States)

"Time, A Child of the Mind"

"Time, you know, is a child of the mind.
Something we create at birth. Something
we harden into days that we then look back
on and come to believe all kinds of things
about our day-creations --- things like
‘I'm too skinny’ or ‘I'm not a pretty as
she is’ or ‘as handsome as he is’,
forgetting that Life or God, if you will,
knows Itself in an absolutely unique way
as each one of us. Time, you know, is a
child of the mind."
