Vortioxetine

Depressopotato

Blank verse
Bitter blue and savory
Butified mind
Self encouraged,
Spontaneous.

And of words that I use
I selected shallows
Enough for me to cry them out
But an unstable gag occurs.

So when trintellix is consumed
And cleans my charred brains
I drunkenly adopt stupidity
And take care of it well, of course.

About this poem

It's sort of a blank-verse/free-verse whatever you may call it, really no metrical rule has been followed obviously. I used a medical term for an antidepressant I stumbled across as I was researching some. This poem is about my strange behavior when I exit a depressive episode, I feel dumber than general. I feel sort of brain empty and as if I've worsened my vocab.
