Dark horse

Pin Lim 1982 (Montreal)

Another year has come and gone looking forward to what the future has in store
Uncertainty of the unknown, but that shall not sway me from kicking down that door
Forge my own path and enjoy the smallest victories with each step taken
Make the most of my opportunity because nothing in life is given

A little broken here and there but haven't faded away into obscurity just yet
Still hanging by a thread the race is not over by a long shot, nothing is set
Make my comeback one stride at a time to one day see a path opening up to see
Break free from the pack and create a version of myself so the world can envy

No need to change up anything because there is nothing wrong with me
Just wasted time with people that didn't connect or have the same mentality
Love is an expression, not a destination, it's 50/50 more or less
It takes two to tangle to discover a genuine spark or create a hot mess

Reminder to myself every day that I have something to offer on the table
Only the right one at the right time will unlock the chains of loneliness to mode enable
I want to believe that there is actually someone out there for everyone
There's a time and place for everything and my time will come
