Healing Pain

If you're in pain,
You need not spend money in vain,
You need not go for therapies,
You need not go on trips,
All you have to do is, speak to your mom,
Her smile a gift from divinity,
Her touch, a magical spell,
Her voice can fill you with felicity,
Her love, well it's infinity!
Having a cup of tea,
With her, can take you on a ride of vivacity,
The tea might be over-sugared
But her words are not,
Her words that come from the depth of heart
Heart, that is a deep ocean,
Her words are like the boat,
Which takes you on a sail of joy.

About this poem

This Poem is written by Shridhar Udayagiri in April 2020. This poem tells us how we people in this materialistic world, get tired, of the same boring routine. Sometimes depressed too, later we run to all the therapies, doctors, but nothing can help us, we don't realize that talking to a true loved one like Mom, can heal our pain. This poem compares mom's love with different aspects in nature.
