What Is Adultery Of The Heart

What Is Adultery Of The Heart
Author: Mark V. Markov

What is adultery of the heart?
Adultery of the heart is defined
By the word of God
To be as,
If you are properly married
To your spouse
And look at others
With sexual desire.

In the word of God
That is defined
As adultery of the heart.

But if you are not properly married
To anyone.
Even if you are with someone,
Or alone.

As you have no wife
To whom you are properly married to.
A woman that belongs to you,
To whom you are married properly before God.

In that case
You are not committing adultery,
On any one.
Since you are not married properly before God.
Because you have no one.

If the person is in that situation;
Then when he looks at a woman,
He is not committing adultery of the heart,
As stated in the word of God.

Since, the physical act of being one flesh
With someone else
With someone who belongs to another,
Is defined as adultery.

Proper marriage before God
As explained
In the Holy Scriptures.
Tells us, all that.
Yes, it does specify.

And proper marriage
To more than one wife
Is found in many examples
Starting with Lamech and on.

As Jacob had two wives
David had seven wives
Solomon had seven hundred wives and three hundred concubines.
As Solomon wrote in the book of proverbs.

Writing to all,
That it was wrong for a man
To be with a woman that doesn't belong to him
That doesn't belong to him properly through the act.

That it was wrong to be one flesh
With the woman
To whom the man is not properly married to.

When that person is physically one flesh
With the woman in that category
With the woman that he is not properly married to.
He is committing adultery.
Because she belongs
To another man
Through the act before God.

And if he is married to someone in that category
If he gets divorced or separated
From the woman that he was not properly married to.
And asks for forgiveness from God.

Since he has no one to be with.
When he looks at other women with sexual desire
He actually is not committing adultery of the heart.
In this situation, it only appllies to men.

Because when a woman loses her virginity
Or is one flesh with a man
After she is free,
From the man she belonged to.
She is properly married to that man before God
And if she divorces from her husband
To whom she is properly married to.
She still belongs to him all his life.

Therefore if she thinks with a sexual desire towards other men.
She is committng adultery of the heart
On the man,
That she belongs to, all his life.

If a woman is a virgin
Or is free from the man she belonged to.
Free from the man to whom she was married to properly
And was not one flesh with anyone after the man passed away.
Since she doesn't belong to any man through the act.
If she thinks with a sexual desire towards other men.
She is not committing adultery of the heart.

If the other person is married.
And the man or woman
Looks with sexual desire at him or her,
It is not adultery of the heart.
Since the person who is married
Is not one flesh with him or her,
But if that married person.
Knowingly agrees to sexually desire back.

Then it becomes adultery of the heart
For the one who is married properly to someone else.
And sin for the one that is not married to anyone,
It is a sin, because he or she is being involved,
With the properly married person,
Who is committing adultery of the heart.

And if they both see each other live,
Desiring each other sexually.
In that case it is still a sin for the person,
Who is not married to anyone.
If they both agree or not agree
Because knowingly or unknowingly
The person who is not married to anyone,
Is motivating
The other person to commit adultery of the heart.

If the man is not properly married to the woman
Properly married through the act before God
Since he has no one, who belongs to him before God
When he looks with a sexual desire at other women
He is not committing adultery of the heart.

Yet, if he is properly married to the woman
Then he cannot look at other women with sexual desire
That would be adultery of the heart,
Since he has a wife to whom he is properly married to.

If he looks with a sexual desire at other women
He would be committing adultery of the heart.
On the woman who belongs to him
On the woman to whom he is properly married to.

This applies even
If he has more than one wife.
If he is properly married,
To them all.

If the man looks with sexual desire
At other women outside of his marriage.
Outside of the marriage to his wife or his wives,
To whom he is properly married to.
That is defined in Holy Scriptures
As adultery of the heart.
Based on the word of God
It is adultery of the heart

Yet, once again
There is no adultery of the heart
And no actual adultery

When he is thinking sexually
Of his wife or his wives
Also if they think of him in the same matter
And if he is one flesh
With his wife or his wives
To whom he is properly married to, before God.

To be one flesh
With one or more of your wives
To whom you are properly married to
Is not adultery.

But if a man thinks sexually of anyone outside of his marriage
Outside of the marriage
To one or more of his wives.
That is defined in the Holy Scriptures
As adultery of the heart.
Because in his heart
He is cheating
On the wife or wives
Who properly belong to him before God.

Matthew 5:27-28 (ESV)

27 You have heard that it was said,˜You shall not commit adultery.

28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent
has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Deuteronomy 14:25-27 (KJV)

25 Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand,
and shalt go unto the place which the Lord thy God shall choose:

26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after,

for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink,
or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the Lord thy God,
and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,

27 And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him;
for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.

Deuteronomy 12:15 (KJV)

15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates,

whatsoever thy soul lusteth after,

according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee:
the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.

16 Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.

17 Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:

18 But thou must eat them before the Lord thy God in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the Lord thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.

19 Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.

Deuteronomy 12:20 (KJV)

20 When the Lord thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee,
and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh;

thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.

Deuteronomy 12:21 (KJV)

21 If the place which the Lord thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee,
then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the Lord hath given thee,

as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
