Bright Moon in the Dark Sky
When it's 12 in the night,
And the streets are quiet,
I walk across the road,
Looking at the bright moon,
In the dark sky,
Souvenirs of past,
Flashes in my mind fast,
The hurdles I faced
The dreams I chased
The sacrifices I made
The roads that mazed,
Made me unique ,
Just the way, the dark sky
Made the moon!
About this poem
This poem was written by Shridhar Udayagiri . I wrote this poem when I was 13 years old. This poem compares two aspects, one the nature, with a person, it says that the dark sky makes the moon bright, the same way, the hurdles, sacrifices we made in our lives will make our life 'bright'.
