Feels like

XaBA WRLD Poems 2004 (Bindura)

Feels like
By Lerato

From the word go
Everything went with a flow
I knew when I was in trouble his name I would call
Months passed n insecurity moved in
We seemed to part n this girl walked in
We fought day n night till he finally gave in
He told me the truth n I finally forgave him
We kinda went back to where we used to be
But I kept asking myself what if he is screwing both of us
When he brushed his lips on mine I felt this disgust inside
I felt so angry, so sad n so confused, I was on an emotional ride
I finally gave in n I let things flow
It's been a year now n my heart feels like hell
I feel like I'm locked up in this emotional jail
I ask myself do I still love him
My head tells him I no longer do ,I'm just scared to be alone
I'm just scared to face life without him
But my heart kicks in n tells me I love him
It reminds of all those crazy moments we share
And damn I'm lost in confusion
It feels like the rain is just pouring on me
It feels like I'm standing ,staring at crossroads
It feels like my heart is bleeding but I can't see the blood
It feels like my head is pounding but it feels so fine
It feels like I'm lost but I know the way
It feels like I'm staring at life in the eye n instead it just shuts me out
I'm confused, the walls are closing in
The darkness is creeping in
I'm confused
It feels like I'm drowning
