Dedicated to Maurice Ernest Gibb CBE

Dedicated to Maurice Ernest Gibb
Dec 22,1949-January 12, 2003

Maurice was fun, humble, kind and full of love.
He was gone too soon and is now far above.
He was never fully appreciated by his brothers.
But, wow, was he loved and admired by me and many, many others.
No one will ever take his place.
Nor match that smile and beautiful face.
I only knew him from afar.
Yet he will always be my shining, legend superstar.
Such talent and finesse and a huge loving heart.
I love how he gave all to his art.
I cherish this man that I never personally knew.
When I think of him, I smile, but sometimes I feel blue.
I know many others feel the same way too.

About this poem

Maurice was a Bee Gee brother. His multi-talented, funny, kind and overwhelming love was awesome. He never received the acknowledgement or accolades from his brothers, even though he contributed just a such ad they did. Maurice left us at young age of 53 pm January 12, 2003. I have honored to give him the acknowledgment that he should've received when he was among us.
