The Very Last Thing

The Very Last Thing
Author: Mark V. Markov

If you see Mark Vladimir Markov's poetry
In French, Spanish, Russian,
German, Hebrew, Japanese, Italian
Or any other translation
That has someone else's name on it
That person is a thief and a liar

He or she steals from the innocent
And claims that it was their own
That person is so wicked evil
Beyond words

The very last thing
The resource to survive
From some one innocent
That needs it in this life
That wicked person steals
And claims it as their own

Is there any sense of decency
These are words about God
About life, about love
Do you think?
The Creator of all life

Do you think that Elohim?
Who sees everything
And knows everything
Do you think Holy Trinity doesn't know?

The person steals from the innocent
And claims that it was His or her own
That person is so wicked evil
Beyond words

The very last thing
The resource to survive
From some one innocent
That needs it in this life
That wicked person steals
And claims it as their own

Is there any sense of decency
These are words about God
About life, about love
Do you think?
The Creator of all life

Do you think that Elohim?
Who sees everything
And knows everything
Do you think Holy Trinity doesn't know?
