Free Truly I am, Beleve Me

Lemonboy

Elysian light I saw here
Dimmed out of nowhere
Cold dark stiffness I can't move
They feel so thin, so smooth.

The first time I entered
Orange leaves embered
Gleamed in your blue irises
All that remains now, cold ashes.

The warmth I felt, the embers
The heated touch of lovers
Dissipates with no trace
Disbelief is all I embrace.

Empathy is what you lack
My freedom is what you attack?
