Sealed Up

Sealed Up

It's times like these, that I miss you
It's times like these, that I don't know what to do
I want to hear you're soft voice in my ear
Washing away the sadness and fear
If I reached out my hand, would you take it
Because, loving you in the dark, I can't fake it
But, being away from you, hurts so bad
That thinking about you, makes me feel sad
I want to kiss your lips every night
While you tell me it will be all right
But, for now, I have to smile on the outside
Because, God knows, how I feel on the inside
So, I will lock myself up tight
And, for now, I will tell myself it will be all right
I hate to fake it, until I make it
But, all the rules, I want to break shit
I know with time, this too shall pass
But, be patient with me, like I'm glass
I know I'll be all right
A kiss will seal it at midnight
