Evening – recline
First one shoe off
Then sticky stocking
As these virgin words
Flow faster from me
As I watch the second shoe drop
Disrobe completely
Each time I write another line
Now naked in my birthday suit
Plead innocent The avalanche of words won’t stop
Help!
Help!
I am drowning in words!
Call in the deeds to help
An irresistible stream of more words
Lifeguard not here, you say
Off duty tonight!
Help!
I’m drowning!
