Addiction

Sharon Brown 1974 (Brooklyn)

My Old friend Addiction
Wont let me be
Always comes around
Always on a party Spree

My Old friend Addiction
Says she has the key
Leaves a simple message
Leaves a little taster so you can be carefree

The doors that you open.
Things that shouldn't have seen
Chasin the devil
Chasin what could've been

My old friend Addiction
Sit’s and wait’s in Three’s
Say’s she the only one
Say’s she can set me free

My old Friend Addiction
Say’s she has the Key
Only place you’ll find her
Is on Fourth anf Capri

Hands be shakin
Where can she be
All you left is a disaster
All you left is a man on his knees

Where’s my friend Addiction
She suppose to set me free

Where my friend Addiction
She up and left me
