Crevice

How am I supposed to feel now?
The road I paved,
Is filled with crevices and misery.

Stuck inside a mind so vile;
There are lucid things,
These eyes of mine cannot un-see.
The darkness that resides here,
A once pleasant company.

How am I supposed to feel now?
These crevices are indefinite.
One wrong step
And I’d fall 20 meters deep.

My mind is no longer safe.
In a place once used as an escape.
Now there’s no way out,
I’m forever tethered to this misery.

How am I supposed to feel now?
With all this exaggeration;
I tried to undo what all was done.
The road I paved,
A single crevice is all but evident.
