PLANTMAN

In a secret lab inside Salk Institute
I had all my skin cells saturated with chlorophyll
Regeneration of my cells began to reconstitute
To live I need sunlight, carbon dioxide and a water fill

I no longer need a mouth and digestive system
I can blend in with the trees in the forest
But now I believe I have a problem
Vegan scientist invited me to dinner, as the only guest

About this poem

I love to eat, but not be eaten.
