Self Doubt

I wanted to try something a little new
Something of which there was few

We have all read many works
From the germans to the turks

So too have we heard from the young and the old
Fantastical poems about the strong and the bold

Stories that bring life to our deep innermost
Desires, those that we don't boast

Whatever could I write that might
Sway all the masses and pack in the same bite

If my works were comparable would I even know
Or is my self doubt the star of this damn show
