Red Covers

Black and blue, black and blue,
Black and blue are the bruises on her face and back:
Black is the very shade of her soul
Blue is the tint of drops falling with a sting, on her open wound;
The warm, red, wetness covers her body.
No longer is black and blue visible,
Broken in half, the heart remains black,
Red mask, red covers, red pain:
In short time black and blue is once more visible:
Many colors belts come in, most commonly the razor is silver,
When mixed together…
Black and blue, black and blue,
And red.
