I lie in bed.
I silent cry.
I lost my smile.
I seek the why.
Lacking strength.
Lacking will.
I want me back.
Before the kill.
Before my soul
Turned black as sooth
Before this tigress
Lost her tooth.
Lost the drive
Lost the flame
Lost the fight
Lost the game
A tired warrior
Has lost her war
She lays her arms
She fights no more
Sleep comes over
Shuts her eyes
Hopes to smile
Before she dies
