Spiritual Distance
Rania Hosny Abdel Fattah Hassan 1969 (Alexandria)
• All my life close to you I used to be&to keep you I was imposing some distance at same time between you & me to be recovered if you try to rust my soul
• I didn't fear to fall coz our tie seemed deep &I was ensuring its existence but it became not seen to me, as if it's covered with dust& I cannot recall
• &To wall I crashed & my way out is by choosing a new kind of safe distance to not let you blame me when am not keen to trust your words &act overall
• &to stand tall today is without doubt by getting for my mind few assistance to help me to reach my aim, so I must by all means react to save my soul
• By finding this new kind of safe distance..
• & to remind myself that being close to you before even with distance was blinding me..
• I think till yet.. Distance between us must be Virtual..
• I wish I can bet Distance between us will never be Spiritual
About this poem
this poem is about relation ships when we are so close from others, we need to put distance between us to keep this relation .. especially when the others don't care about this relation .. we trying all the time to let it succeed but it's not a mutual wish between them & us.. & because of their pushing all the time we fear to turn this virtual distance to an spiritual distance that will end this relation definitely .. we always hope we will not change this virtual distance into spiritual distance
