In the midst of waiting

In the midst of waiting

***

Echo captures me in the pockets of time…
Age passes like ships with lofty sails ,
saturated with waiting…
That long blooming time tickles me at the threshold of nostalgia...
Spreading me a palatable perfume…
Taking me back to my early distant childhood
in the swing of a lifetime there...
Where my mother spreads me as a beautiful and eternal dream...
There for a while, dreams, open spaces, and echoes are seasons of waiting…
Igniting me again, perfuming me while I was flaunting meekly…
while my mother is waiting for me to finish
the rites of joy with my peers
To rise up as a luminous angel...
To be surrounded by my mother's full shadow
Which was moving towards me, protecting me
 to the end...
But I'm afraid that her descent hug ‘ll fade away…
For fear it will not gather my scattered shreds and my sorrows that haven’t gotten old yet...!
