Lunar

The moon she wanes,
certain behind her cloudy curtain
at night she winks and flirts and waits for me to reach,
my final hour
I will devour her

My eyes lose focus on my watch, as I open my arms and she reveals her charms woven into me,
every moment, interstellar, intertwined,
I am weaved as she cleaves to me
Born as she breathes through me

I dance with her all the night away, away,
but all the same
For I try with all my might to hold her here but there,
Deceased I lay
Baren and upheavaled upon the morn
as the sun fleeces me into yet, another dawn
