My Testimony (One Year)

A testimony in the making,
One Year on the journey.
For I will not be forsaken.

Here on Earth, my heart is yours.
He took my place in hell for three days.
You gave up a crown and a throne,
for a cross and a grave

Today, I will break free of my past,
be buried in the water and
come up clean and free
of my sins.

All this done in one year,
He changed my life, took the
old me and today,
I was made brand-new.
