Inside them.

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

I walked with you
as I grew in strength.
I talked with you
tenth after tenth.
I saw your eyes close
shutting out penance.
I turned to you crying
when some things meant.
I had you inside
as my insides leant.
I wish I understood
why, when I'm distant.
I know you are close
in all minds that are remnant.
I resonate in your world
while you allow me this instant.
I capture our moments
sharing as if light might faint.
I do all for you
being you who suffer
that I made plain
to be me
that surrounds me
as I suffer perfect pain
gaining impacts
again
as you,
while my words fail.
