"Lullabye's Sheep

Carolyn M. Herbin 1954 (Gibsonville)

Hush, little baby don't you cry,
Mama's gonna sing you a lullabye,
A lullabye to put you asleep,
As you can count all the little sheep's.
Sheep's by one's and sheeps by two's;
They all will soon follow you.
Three and four will jump once more.
Five and six will lose a stitch;
Seven and eight will leave the gate,
Nine and ten will be the end,
And I'll see you when it's bed time again,
Sleep, sleep, my dear little friends.
