Yesterday

Your yesterdays were wasted
and nothing was done.
All life's pleasures were tasted
preparations left undone.

Now the summer's gone
and pantry bare.
Your fields are barren
the grass seems greener here.

You won't plan ahead
because life’s a Ball.
Now you’re here for our bread
we have plenty after-all.

You said we are fools
while you laid back merrily.
We were holding our tools
now you demand our charity.
