Night

I look to you
Knowing theres a beginning someday soon
But there is never quite a light that comes to me as bright as these lies
And I begin to question
Whether you were mistaking all these dreams you had
The darkness seems so much brighter
I look at you
Someday soon
But the days they come and go
And theres nothing that shows
That you were here all along
I begin to fade away
As the darkness astounds
I look to you
My tears soaking the night
And the night goes by
Morning light comes
But again……
its gone by dusk
