With Good Works We Glorify
With Good Works We Glorify
Author: Mark V. Markov
The thief on the cross
Was nailed to the cross
He could not come down
He was in a process of dying
He believed in Jesus Christ
And Jesus Christ saved him
This pertains to those who are dying
And if they believe in Jesus Christ
He will save them
But if we have our whole life ahead of you
Than God the Father
And Jesus Christ His Only Begotten Son
Expects us to have obedience
As God’s adopted children.
Get baptized in water
And in the Holy Spirit
With a one time confirmation
Of speaking in tongues.
Keep the ten and two commandments
And be somehow be involved in the ministry.
If we are children of God
We need to have obedience
In our life to His instruction
As Jesus Christ had said
In the book of revelation
To His beloved disciple John
When it came to the church of Sardis
He said “You think that you are alive
But you are dead
Your works are not perfect
Before God the Father”
He said they need to have works
So if Jesus Christ expects works from us,
We cannot deny works.
With good works we glorify
God the Father
Works are necessary also
To have a living faith
That is pleasing before God the Father.
We need to have obedience
We need to have a living faith
Which consists of believing and works
And not just acknowledging and ignoring
We need to know
That obedience to Jesus Christ's instruction
Is works also
That need to be followed.
It's interesting how some who teach only grace
They have works with their ministry
But deny teaching works
A pastor with a ministry has works
But doesn't tell others that they need works
A preacher is using his talent
Which is works also
But tells others it's ok
To bury their talent in the ground
And just acknowledge
That God exists
Anyone involved in the grace only ministry
Is producing works
But they don't want others to know
About having works
James says
Even demons acknowledge that God exists
So what is a difference between
A human acknowledging that God exists?
And a demon acknowledging that God exists?
While we all live on earth
We need to have works.
Faith without works is dead
So what is the opposite?
Faith with works is a living faith.
If you don't see a talent in you for the ministry
Than just invest into a ministry that preaches
The true path to salvation through Jesus Christ
Or a ministry that helps others in Jesus Christ’s name
Invest financially in the kingdom of God
And that is good enough
Before God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Get baptized in water
And in the Holy Spirit
With a one time confirmation
Of speaking in tongues.
keep the commandments
And be somehow involved in the ministry.
Revelation 3:1-5 (ESV)
To the Church in Sardis
1 “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: ‘The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars.
“‘I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
2 Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God.
3 Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you.
4 Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.
5 The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.
James 2:14-17 (ESV)
14 What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food,
16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?
17 So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead
James 2:19-26 (ESV)
19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!
20 Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar?
22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works;
23 and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God.
24 You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.
25 And in the same way was not also Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way?
26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.
The instruction in the Bible needs to be looked at,
Same as if God would appear and tell you directly.
Since He already instructed it to us,
He expects us to receive
Some people say
They want God to appear and tell them
Everything that has been said by Him already.
That is just an excuse
To continue not follow the instruction of Jesus Christ.
The Seventh Day Commandment
Author: Mark V. Markov
When it comes to
The Seventh Day commandment
If you are in the army
or other service
That is required for a society to function
Such as hospital, police, fire dept, security.
And other similar fields of work
That are required for the society to function.
If a believer can't keep the Seventh Day
God understands and makes an exception.
The Seventh Day is Saturday as it always was.
When it comes to
The Seventh Day commandment
If you are in the army
or other service
That is required for a society to function.
